For about 40 dollars you can get unlimited reports, if you are in the market for a used car it is well worth the investment. The report will tell you if the car has ever been in an accident, if it has then it will tell you the extent of the damage. It will tell you how many different owners the car has been through. If the car was serviced at a participating provider then you can even see service history on the car.

2. Gas Mileage, Maintenance, and Insurance

When you are budgeting for your used car purchase don’t forget about the associated costs of driving. How much is gas going to cost you each month? Oil changes? How about insurance?

3. What Features Are “Must Haves” For You

Determining your “Must Have” features will help you narrow down what you are looking for. If Cargo Space is a must for you I suggest looking at used SUVs. If you are a commuter and gas mileage is a must then you should look at small cars. If you need the multimedia hookups then look at newer used cars or luxury makes.
